yesterday's muse - jean patchett

i'm starting a new occasional feature dans ma blog, entitled yesterday's muse, in which i will post photographs of famous models of the past whose style and presence have laid claim to a portion of the collective unconscious and shaped our ideas of beauty in the process. i'll begin with Jean Patchett, iconic face of the 1950s, who's face and figure graced over 40 magazine covers and became the very picture of her decade.
