spread your wings

do you ever watch those learning channel shows about wierd homes? i love that stuff. if i ever won disgusting amounts of money i'd build myself some strange dwelling in the middle of nowhere and be as eccentric as i pleased.

here's a neat place in Costa Rica made out of a vintage 1965 airplane. you can stay there for 350 bones a night. more info/photos here.

that's right. i saw an interview with Betty White last night, promoting her upcoming film, and fell hopelessly in love with her. at 87 years old, with a television career spanning 60 years and 5 emmys, she is bursting with life and humour. i only hope that i'll have half the spark that Betty possesses when i'm her age. and so, for the light that she shines on the world, and for her animal advocacy, i hereby induct miss White into the hall of dames.
