i just disovered the work of Carlo Heckman, an under-appreciated industrial designer from the 1950's via Core 77. Heckman was best known for his arrangement of birthday candles, dubbed the Heckman Method, which I think is absolutely brilliant! read more about these candles and other Heckman projects here.
