that's right. i saw an interview with Betty White last night, promoting her upcoming film, and fell hopelessly in love with her. at 87 years old, with a television career spanning 60 years and 5 emmys, she is bursting with life and humour. i only hope that i'll have half the spark that Betty possesses when i'm her age. and so, for the light that she shines on the world, and for her animal advocacy, i hereby induct miss White into the hall of dames.

as for Judy Dench, who i just saw at the bottom in the reads i might like, i just watched "Mrs Henderson Presents" last night and she is just as fantastic in recent years!
